Hey there!

We’re Rick & Libby, the geeked-out gardeners at Wishful Thinking Farm. Thanks for stopping by!

We love dahlias, data, and doodles. When we’re not growing dahlias, or planning dahlia growing improvements, you can usually find us a few different places: Libby has a day job; Rick looks after our three goldendoodles and the dahlia data. We also love playing in the Columbia River Gorge and having food & wine adventures with friends & family.

Why thank you for asking! These are our Goldendoodles, Allie, Bentley, and Link.

Allie Maisy Figaro Magnifico is the oldest of our pack. She is a total drama queen, most likely as a result of having been an only puppy. Her nickname is #disapprovingdog but secretly we know she has a heart of gold.
Bentley is Allie’s full brother and is 6 months younger than she is. He’s the calm, stoic one in the group, but boy does he like the attention that having a blue mowhawk brings. (Why do we do it? We like being able tell him apart from his littermate, Cooper, who visits often. Seriously. We mix them up if Benny isn’t sporting fancy hair.)
That little brown one is Link, he’s a half-brother to the other two. He’s the most loving, cuddly dog we’ve ever had. He’s also in his teenage years and loves being an escape artist. Oh my!

Allie Maisy Figaro is the Queen of the house! If you are doing it wrong you'll know because she will disapprove.

Bentley is our coolest doodle, and has the hair to match the personality. (Also it helps us tell him apart from his littermate Cooper, who visits often.)
